Biblical Research & Writing - GE 101

Intro to Biblical Research & Writing equips students with the foundational skills needed to study Scripture with accuracy, depth, and clarity. This course introduces students to essential research tools, methods of biblical interpretation, academic writing standards, and the process of developing well supported biblical arguments. Students will learn how to use concordances, lexicons, commentaries, digital study platforms, and scholarly resources to strengthen their understanding of Scripture. Emphasis is placed on writing devotionals, reflection papers, ministry essays, and research-based assignments with clarity, organization, and theological integrity. Students entering this course may come with varying levels of familiarity with Scripture, but all will leave with a shared vocabulary and toolkit for engaging the Bible as both scholars and disciples.
